Become a referral partner

We work with other local organisations to make sure that people who need the foodbank are referred to us, and that people who visit the food bank are also receiving wider support to address the root causes of crisis or poverty in their lives.

We operate a voucher model, meaning that only people with a voucher are able to access our food provision.

Voucher codes are distributed by our referral partners, who must verify that the person they are supporting is in a state of food poverty or crisis – meaning they do not have, and are unable to afford, food or household items for themselves and those in their care. Voucher codes are intended to relieve immediate hunger and should be used within three days.

As part of this process, partners should also ensure that appropriate support to overcome the drivers of crisis or poverty is in place. We offer further signposting and support to ensure people have access to relevant services and organisations to help them change the circumstances that led to hunger, and break cycles of poverty.

Work with us for a hunger-free King’s Lynn

We’ll give you some guidance on how our voucher system works and how best to assess someone for a voucher, as well as explaining our extra items or help we have may have available at the time. You’ll be fully supported as one of our referral agents.

If your organisation would like to be able to refer people to King’s Lynn Foodbank, please contact us by emailing: info@kingslynn.foodbank.org.uk
