Citizen's Advice is working hard to help people who are struggling during this crisis. They have now teamed up with the Trussell Trust to provide a national freephone advice helpline for those who may be struggling to afford food.
The helpline is open 10am-4pm Monday-Friday and you can get advice from their independent advisers on a range of issues and if necessary they can help with a Foodbank voucher too.

We're looking for volunteers who can regularly help in our warehouse starting in the Autumn. If you'd like to help us out for a couple of hours each week over the winter period on either a Tuesday or Thursday morning, please go to:
We're still REALLY full of food! However, if you'd like some ideas for what to donate if you're holding a harvest festival, here are some ideas:
* Longlife fruit juice/squash
* Small jars of coffee
* Tinned vegetables
* Small packets of biscuits
* Toilet rolls
Norfolk Assistance Scheme
If you're struggling, NAS can help you with food, paying your bills and money for everyday essentials.
The support is for two weeks to begin with. However, if you need more long-term help after that, NAS can work with you to access further support and find out what other help you might be eligible for.
Warm Homes Discount
You could get £140 off your electricity bill for winter 2021 to 2022 under the Warm Home Discount Scheme. If you get the Guarantee Credit element of Pension Credit or you're on a low income and meet your energy supplier’s criteria for the scheme you will be able to apply for the scheme.
The scheme opens on 18 October 2021 and you'll need to contact your energy supplier to see if they are taking part.
